La web oficial del anime Ghost in the Shell Arise anunciaba el lunes que los nuevos episodios que se incluirán con la versión televisiva del proyecto, Ghost in the Shell Arise: Alternative Architecture, se lanzarán en BD y DVD el 26 de agosto. Bajo el nombre Ghost in the Shell Arise Pyrophoric Cult, la historia presentará al nuevo personaje Pyromania y enlazará con la del próximo filme.
El BD se venderá por 6.800 yenes, mientras que el DVD tendrá un precio de 5.800 yenes. Ambos incluirán un libreto llamado por ahora “Analyzed Fire Starter”.
